The chicken is tossed in a deliciously flavored homemade teriyaki sauce. When air fried it produces super juicy tender pieces of chicken that’s perfect for easy weeknight cooking.
1Place soy sauce, mirin, honey, rice wine vinegar, ginger, garlic and sesame oil in a bowl and whisk together to combine.
2Add the chicken and turn to coat.
3Insert the wire rack into position 4.
4Place the chicken, skin side up, in the roasting pan and pour over the liquid from the bowl. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5Once preheated, place the chicken in the oven and start the timer. When the Rotate Remind signals, rotate the pan and continue cooking until chicken is browned.
6Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a cutting board. Cut each thigh into three pieces on the diagonal. Reserve the pan juices, to serve.
7Drizzle with the pan juices and sprinkle over the green onions. Serve with steamed rice.
