Setting up your machine

Enjoy professional-quality third wave specialty coffee at home with your new Oracle® espresso machine. In this video, we'll show you how to set up the Oracle® for the first time. Unbox your machine and pull out all the included accessories. Make sure to thoroughly wash and dry them before use. Soak the filter in water for 5 minutes, then place the filter in the holder and fill the tank with water. Next, lock the bean hopper into place at the top of the machine. Now it's time to power up the machine! When all six buttons light up, the machine is ready to go. The startup process will take 10 minutes the first time you turn it on. Finally, the main LCD will display 'Hrd3,' alerting you to set the water hardness level. Programming this function will set the regularity of the "Change Filter" alert, which indicates when the water filter needs to be replaced. Now your Oracle® is set up and you're ready to make your first cup of barista-style coffee.
